Evaluation of the Microsoft Excel Solver Spreadsheet-Based Program for Nonlinear Expressions of Adsorption Isotherm Models onto Magnetic Nanosorbent

چکیده
The sorption of basic dyes onto magnetic nanosorbent is commonly used as a novel material to combat powdered activated carbon, which difficult handle and separate during water wastewater treatment. This adsorption method implemented in treatment due its low cost high performance. To explore the feasibility adsorption, six different nonlinear isotherm models were applied introduced evaluate performance mechanisms via Microsoft Excel, they then compared those MATLAB OriginPro. Langmuir best provided methylene blue adsorbed for two-parameter model. three-parameter model Toth gave goodness fit indicating heterogeneous sorbent surface. Error function analysis found that Residual Sum Squares Error, Chi-square, Coefficient determination, Average Relative Hybrid Fractional Function, Marquardt’s Percent Standard Deviation Root Mean Square overall results. In comparison, it could be concluded showed confidence interval simply at all experimental data points by three software tools. All error results indicated Excel Solver spreadsheet satisfied statistic measures predict real variance probability dye removal. One added benefit this tool built-in associated with desired type application, designates error/statistical functions not mentioned research adsorbent materials used.

Evaluation of parameter uncertainties in nonlinear regression using Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet
Background: Nonlinear relationships are common in the environmental discipline. Spreadsheet packages such as Microsoft Excel come with an add-on for nonlinear regression, but parameter uncertainty estimates are not yet available. The purpose of this paper is to use Monte Carlo and bootstrap methods to estimate nonlinear parameter uncertainties with a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. As an example, ...
متن کاملA New Basis for Spreadsheet Computing: Interval Solver for Microsoft Excel
There is a fundamental mismatch between the computational basis of spreadsheets and our knowledge of the real world. In spreadsheets numerical data is represented as exact numbers and their mutual relations as functions, whose values (output) are computed from given argument values (input). However, in the real world data is often inexact and uncertain in many ways and the relationships, i.e., ...
متن کاملLICSS - a chemical spreadsheet in microsoft excel
BACKGROUND Representations of chemical datasets in spreadsheet format are important for ready data assimilation and manipulation. In addition to the normal spreadsheet facilities, chemical spreadsheets need to have visualisable chemical structures and data searchable by chemical as well as textual queries. Many such chemical spreadsheet tools are available, some operating in the familiar Micros...
متن کاملSoilEngineering: A Microsoft Excel® spreadsheet© program for geotechnical and geophysical analysis of soils
SoilEngineering is a user-friendly, interactive Microsoft Excel spreadsheet program for the geotechnical and geophysical analysis of soils. The influence of soil behavior on earthquake characteristics and/or structural design is one of the major elements in investigating earthquake forces, and thus the structural response with static and dynamic loads. With its interactive nature, the program p...
متن کاملadsorption isotherm modeling of phenol onto natural soils – applicability of various isotherm models
liquid-phases adsorption equilibrium of phenol onto two naturally available soils namely kalathur soil (kr) and adhanur soil (ar) were studied. the experimental data were analyzed using fourteen isotherm models, ranging from single-parametric model to multi-parametric models (up to 5 parameters) of the system. results show that in general the accuracy of models to fit experimental data improve...
